PARIS, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- British rider Adam Yates took the lead of the Tour de France after home title favorite Julian Alaphilippe was given a 20-second penalty in Wednesday's stage five, which was won by Belgian Wout van Aert.
"It was a heavy finish. It was maybe the most easy stage I ever did in a cycling race because there was no breakaway, not a high pace at all, but then the last hour was really hectic with the wind," Van Aert said.
"The Premier League confirms that it has today terminated its agreements for Premier League coverage in China with its license in that territory, the Premier League will not be commenting further on the matter at this stage," read a statement.
World number one Djokovic struck 51 winners to notch up the win against Edmund, extending his unbeaten run this year to 25 matches.
"Kyle played a fantastic first set," added Djokovic. "He didn't do much wrong, he served very well and was aggressive from the back of the court. Usually his forehand is a weapon, but his backhand, especially in the first set, was very strong, very solid."
The 31-year-old's poor relationship with Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is well documented and was made clear when Zidane only used him in two of the 12 games his side played when Spanish football resumed in June after lockdown.
"It's a great motivation for me to want to do well this tournament, but for the most part I feel like I've been in quarantine and practising for so long, so I prefer to play matches," Osaka said.
Alaphilippe had led Yates by four seconds when the race was finished and looked to have retained the yellow jersey, but television footage showed him taking a bottle from a Deceuninck-Quick Step team support member with 17.8km to go - under the rules of cycling's world governing body UCI, riders are not allowed to take on food or drink in the final 20km of a race.
